Highly recommend this intimate and very lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. We know our Sri Lankan cuisine well and this place does not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed the eggs hoppers, seafood dish with strings, gothamba roti and Kothu. Delish!
Wow, what an incredible array of choices! We couldn't resist the temptation and went all in with the Colombo Platter, accompanied by some delightful sides. The food danced with flavors, striking a flawless harmony of spices that transported us to the heart of Sri Lanka. The restaurant's ambiance was positively enchanting, and we decided to bask in the outdoor seating. If you find yourself in Vienna craving an authentic Sri Lankan culinary adventure, this place is an absolute must-visit!
Very good food accompanied by excellent service and drinks. Must visit place in Vienna. Try the sharing plate for two. Everything freshly prepared.
I recently dined at this Nepalese restaurant and pleased by the quality of the service and the delicious food. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable, and they made sure that our dining experience was top-notch.
The food was very good, with every dish bursting with complex flavors and spices. The dishes were expertly prepared and presented beautifully on the plate. I particularly enjoyed the tender curries and the fragrant basmati rice.
One area where the restaurant could improve is by offering a greater variety of dishes on the menu. While the dishes that were available were excellent, I would have liked to see more options to choose from. Additionally, the prices at the restaurant were on the higher side, so offering better value for money would be a welcome addition. (No restaurant should charge for Popadums)
The restaurant is definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves delicious and authentic Nepalese cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor patio where you can enjoy your meal on a nice day. The patio is adorned with colorful lanterns and plants. In the summer it would be aperfect spot for meal with friends.
Overall, I recommend this Colombo Hoppers for its great service and delicious food. With a few improvements in terms of variety and value for money, it could become one of the better restaurants in the area.
Amazing food!
In love with mutton and Godamba roti❤️
My dear Indian friends, trust me it is the place for you, specially those who are in search of mutton curry (I was craving for Mutton Roganjosh and this dish fits the taste!) Just amazing!
But talking of cons, the service is really slow and portions are small (at least for above dishes that I mentioned) so if you are super hungry and have good diet, you might not like the delay and order variety of items in one go. Preparation takes a lot of time!
Interesting take on a Sri Lankan restaurant. Restaurant was very quiet when I visited (only customer) but service a little hit and miss - no cutlery, slow to replenish drinks. Menu is expensive for what it is and service charge more or less mandatory.
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the garden is quite cosy. We really wanted to try the Watalappan dessert, which was sadly out, so we'll definitely be coming back soon!
Delicious, this restaurant is such a pleasant surprise. I am from Malaysia and it is challenging to find the types of delicacies offered at Colombo at other restaurants in Vienna. Highly recommend!
